What this is

HODL waves split the entire Bitcoin supply into age bands — how long since each coin last moved — and show each band's share over time. Thick young bands (bright) mark active distribution near tops; a thickening old base (the long-held cohorts, >1y) marks accumulation and conviction. It's built directly from our own node's reorg-safe UTXO-age index — every coin, no sampling.
